Des Montagnes was founded in 2019 and is based in Amsterdam. We are passionate about discovering new artists, nurturing their creativity and helping them on the path to long-term success. We work with musicians from a wide variety of genres and aim to be your number one for live music reservations and private bookings.
Des Montagnes was founded by Ike van Bergen. Ike is a professional jazz pianist
and programmer for various event locations and festivals.
Ike studies the jazz department at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and is a booker for the Grachtenfestival in Amsterdam and Studio Loos in the Hague.
Ike leads and plays in various musical projects such as ParHasard, Maddy-Moreah, Maya Shanti, I.P.S. Deluxe, Katelijne van Otterloo Quartet, Susanne Alt, and more..
He has also played with bands and artists such as Trijntje Oosterhuis, Jazz Focus Bigband led by Peter Guidi and .multibeat.
Ike also played with pre- and post-show projects for artists such as Cory Henry & the Funk Apostles, the Legends, Steffen Morrison, Tino Martin, New Cool Collective and Candy Dulfer.

For example, Ike played with his own and other people's projects in halls and festivals such as Paradiso, BIMHUIS, TivoliVredenBurg, Red Light Jazz Festival, Amersfoort World Jazz Festival, Delft Jazz Festival, Jazz in Duke Town, Amsterdams Bostheater, Meervaart, Zuiderparktheater, Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, Vondelpark Open Air Theatre, Haarlem Jazz & More and AFAS Live.

Ike's experience in finance, programming and marketing gave him the idea to start his own booking agency. He has a lot of passion for music, but especially in helping growing artists. As he himself experienced with other booking agencies who guided him in the process to more and more beautiful performances!
