Antares Flare is a sextet based in the Netherlands. Their music is characterized by a groovy, afrobeat layer topped with soulful improvisation with horns (think of Kokoroko with Christian Scott and BADBADNOTGOOD), combined with edgy electronic effects. Antares Flare offers a musical journey through the Congo rainforest, South-American magic realism and the psychedelic European realm of the 60’s.
